I have reduced the number of bucks I keep, and it has been a difficult chore, since it seems to me these boys are much more affectionate than my girls. GC RedGate Chucky (15 legs), was my first BIS buck, who was still producing and winning at SIX years old had a "Forever Home" with me. I lost him in the winter of 2010.
For two years, my main herd sire was GC L&R Sage, many of his offspring have won legs and granded as well. Sage passed in early 2011.
I bought Hope's JJ (Granded with 11 legs now) from Randy Blackburn at the 2010 Holland Nationals in CO and have gotten several nice youngsters from him, and grandbabies on the way!
RedGate JoeBob - a vert typey, balanced tort buck with a full StoneHill background. I am so sorry this boy went overweight, he is everything I'd want in a buck. I have bred him and his babies are dwarf sized and NICE! He is also a very friendly buck.
StoneHill's Zorro - a tiny black buck, sire to GC RedGate Lizzie.
Delings T28 - a broken black buck I bought at Convention in MN 2011. His son with GC RedGate Cassie won BOB at Harrisonville, MO his first time on the table!
StoneHill's Fiesta - a broken tort buck with his first litter on the ground!
StoneHills Blueberry (a blue buck, sold at Nationals 2011) left offspring from several does with me!
and Esdee's Kingsford, a seal buck with grandbabies on the way!
(Recent pictures of these bucks will be here soon!)
